#Task 5

Task 5: Compare between HTML and Dreamweaver

Reflection: I think Dreamweaver was easier and better to use than HTML, because for HTML you need codes for everything, and its harder to use. To use Dreamweaver you dont need codes, you can just write what you want, and its easy to add colour and pictures.

#Task 4

Task 4: Dreamweaver

Reflection: I think this task was the funniest task. I also think dreamweaver is easier to use, and its really fun to use it, because we can add colour, pictures and text in an easy way.

#Task 3

Task 3: HTML
To make a HTML webpage, we had to use notepad:

Reflection: I think this task was hard, but still fun. We had to use codes, and it was hard. It was also fun because we had to find codes, and our own colour codes. It was also hard to make our notepad-file to a webpage.

#Task 2

Task 2: What is a digital portfolio?

-What are the three important features of a digital portfolio?

In a portfolio you should have: A good heading, Good hyperlinks that shows you where you can go, and

-List one advantage and one disadvantage of a digital portfolio.

Advantages:

1. Accessibility:

o Portfolios in digital format can be easily and inexpensively reproduced therefore materials can be made available to a wider audience e.g., burning onto CD-ROM

o Can be accessible from multiple locations and by many individuals simultaneously e.g., on the WWW

2. Portability: Easier to transport than hard copy versions.

3. Creativity: New non-linear formats and the integration of various media types allow students many ways to creatively express their professional knowledge and skills.

4. Technology:

o Digital portfolios are one of the best ways for students to communicate their knowledge and expertise related to their use of technology

o Students can demonstrate proof of their technical skills while also displaying their ability to apply technology in the creation of multimedia presentations, software programs and the like

5. Self-confidence: Building technology skills and fostering self-confidence in their own abilities.

6. Community: Sharing ideas and resources.

Disadvantages:

1. The creation of digital portfolios requires advanced knowledge and skills and sometimes expensive, high-tech equipment.

2. Viewing a digital portfolio sometimes requires special software as well as additional knowledge and skills on the part of the viewer.

3. Technology can often obstruct the view of students’ REAL accomplishments by using too many ‘bells and whistles’.

4. Be aware of the possibility of plagiarism as it may be easier to use your information as it is already in a digital format and easily copied and pasted or saved onto another person’s computer.

Reflection: I think this task was OK. Its was easy to find the answers, and it was not so hard, because we didn't added any colours or pictures.

1. What is the content of the site? What are the headings? What subjects and other areas are included.

The site is about Justin Bieber, and they update news about Justin Bieber and his family all the time. The heading are the main page, where they update most off the stuff he do, about his family and of course about himself. Other subjects are: Home, Bio, Facts, Tour Dates, Videos, Chat, Pictures, Lyrics, Vote and All News.

2. What is about the web design? What is not so good? (Refer to colours, organization of images and text, types of images etc.)

I think the design is quite good, in colors, imagines and text. I think the top could be a little bit better.

3. Make comments about the organization of the portfolio. (Refer to navigation and how items are found)

I realy like this webpage, because I love Justin Bieber, and I read this page every day! I think there are good pictures, and there are pictures about his family, and his fans. You can also listen to his music on this website!

1. What is the content of the site? What are the headings? What subjects and other areas are included.

The website is about a girl, she is 16 years old and she has a 1 year old girl. She updates things about herself and her little girl, Michelle. She updates video-blogs, outfits, she blogs on Norwegian and updates daily!

2. . What is about the web design? What is not so good? (Refer to colours, organization of images and text, types of images etc.)

I think the design is perfect! I think it have perfect color combinations, and the images and text fits together.

3. Make comments about the organization of the portfolio. (Refer to navigation and how items are found)

I think the organization of the blog is quite good, because the colors fit together, and the images and text are fits together to!

1. What is the content of the site? What are the headings? What subjects and other areas are included.

The website is about a chemistry teacher, and he writes about chemistry, and his education. His subjects are; Home, Standards, Philosophy, Social Justice, Future Goals, Testimonials, Resume.

2. What is about the web design? What is not so good? (Refer to colours, organization of images and text, types of images etc.)

I think he needs to work on his design. It is boring, and it doesn’t have colors (almost.) He could add some more pictures, more colors and he only have one paragraph.

I think he have an orderly organization, but I think he need to add some more color!

Reflection: I think this task was really fun! We had time to search on the internet, and come with our own opinions for the sites.

My self!

hi, my name is Martine! I'm 13 years old, and I'm from Norway :) Now I live in Dubai, and I'm going to live her for 1 (maybe 2) years! I'm a student on the school EIS meadows :) In my spare time I like to swim in the pool, hang out with friends. In Norway I loved to go down-hill skiing, and we used to go skiing every winter. I really love Justin Bieber!
